The Muse for this creation was my brother, Bill. Over a counter lunch at the local pub in Rylstone, we were talking about the upcoming Exhibition and I asked Bill what came to his mind when he heard the theme 'Love is a Battlefield' .. and he took a sip of his beer, thought for a moment and said "The Poppy" ... and I was sketching this beauty that very afternoon!
