The original inspiration for this creation was the Drosera Ordensis Kimberley wildflower, found near Kununurra in the East Kimberley, and she became an artistic delight that I had a lot of fun with. Sinamay is an amazing millinery fabric to steam and shape and the different uses of sinamay create depth to the design of Mirama Kimberley. The Biot feather flower includes stamens inspired by the Drosera who itself produces tons of dew. Mirama positions perfectly on the head.
